Lens have confirmed they have parted company with head coach Dino Toppmoller, after just four Ligue 1 games under the German.

Amid reports of a disagreement between Dino Toppmoller's staff and the Lens hierarchy, the German has been sacked by the Ligue 1 club.
Toppmoller succeeded Pierre Sage when he left for Crystal Palace this summer, having delivered a runner-up finish in Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France trophy in 2025-26.
His reign started with silverware, as Lens overcame Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 to win the Trophee des Champions on August 16.
But just shy of a month later, Toppmoller has been dismissed following a return of four points from four Ligue 1 matches.
Lens came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with newly promoted Le Mans on Sunday, off the back of a 3-2 Champions League win at Slavia Prague last week.
A statement issued by the club read: "In a spirit of mutual respect, Racing Club de Lens and Dino Toppmoller have announced the end of their collaboration.
"After many discussions about the life of the group, and the functioning and organisation of the staff, Racing told the coach of its desire to reshape things.
"As these structural changes could not be shared by Dino Toppmoller, the club, in charge, has taken the decision to put an end to his mission, as well as that of his two assistants.
"Racing Club de Lens would like to pay tribute to the sincere humanity and elegance that Dino Toppmoller has constantly shown. The club also specifies that the tactician has agreed to waive a substantial part of his contractual compensation."
Yannick Cahuzac, who played for Lens for three years before serving as their assistant manager, will be in charge for Friday's trip to high-flying Monaco.
