How to Watch: PSG vs. Nice on beIN SPORTS
Under pressure PSG face a must-win match against in-form Nice in Ligue 1
After a week which began with Marseille at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, PSG are ending it back at the summit. But only just. A mad midweek round of action in Ligue 1 saw the previous top trio of Marseille, PSG and Lens all dropping points. This sees the Ligue 1 title race shaping up to be one of the most thrilling in Europe.
Six teams within reach of the top
Going into match day 11 of Ligue 1, there are now six teams that could end up at top of table on Sunday, starting with PSG in first place all the way down to Lens in sixth, just two points away. A normally imperious PSG has been wobbling in Ligue 1 this season with three ties in the past five games, including a 1-1 draw at Lorient on Wednesday. The match also saw another injury for Désiré Doué, who is set to miss the next few weeks with a thigh injury.
Nice arrive in red-hot form
The first of those games missed by the French star will be a match against Nice in the Parc des Princes. The visitors are coming facing PSG with the hottest form in Ligue 1 having picked up three victories in a row against the heavyweight rivals of Lyon, Rennes and Lille. If PSG are not bringing their A-game to Saturday’s match, there are five teams ready to take advantage.
