PSG face a tough title challenge as USMNT stars get ready for the FIFA World Cup
The home of the Champions League winners returns
The Champions of Europe are back exclusively on beIN SPORTS, along with some of the most famous names in world soccer as Ligue 1 returns for the 2025-26 edition.
The 88th edition of the competition will see PSG pushing for another title win under the demanding stewardship of Luis Enrique, who won't let the team rest on its laurels after an incredible 2024/2025 campaign.
Marseille will once again be the main rivals for PSG, as the demanding Roberto de Zerbi looks to bring the league title back to Marseille for the first time since 2009-10. PSG will also have rivals closer to home, literally across the street, with Paris FC promoted to the French top-flight for the first time in the club's history.
Monaco are also on the rise and all eyes will be on Paul Pogba and if the French midfielder can resurrect his career in Monte Carlo once he returns to full fitness.
Americans in force in Ligue 1
The fate of the USMNT in the 2026 FIFA World Cup could be set by the performance of two key American players in Ligue 1.
Timothy Weah has joined Marseille on loan and the winger will be looking to have a sensational season ahead of the tournament on home soil next summer.
Weah could be joined in the starting line up for the USMNT's first World Cup game by Folarin Balogun, a striker that is looking to get over a rough period of injury with a sterling year for Monaco.
Rising star, Tanner Tessman, will also be looking to be in Mauricio Pochettino's squad next summer. The 23-year-old midfielder is currently with Lyon, having made 24 appearances last season.
