Dro Fernández Signs With Psg Until 2030
PSG sign former Barcelona academy midfielder Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández until 2030
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced on Monday the signing of young Spanish attacking midfielder Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández, a product of the FC Barcelona academy, on a contract running through 2030.
After deciding to leave the Catalan club during the winter transfer window in search of more playing time, Dro Fernández arrives in the French capital and will wear the No. 27 shirt, the Parisian club confirmed in an official statement.
“I’m very happy and proud to sign for Paris Saint-Germain. It’s a moment of great pride for me and my family. PSG is a huge club that I’ve followed since I was a child, where great legends have made history. I’m highly motivated and eager to give everything for this shirt,” Dro Fernández said.
PSG describe him as a versatile midfielder, who has quickly stood out for his technical quality, vision, and ability to operate between the lines.
Born in Nigrán (Pontevedra) in 2008, Dro Fernández joined Barcelona’s academy in 2022 after impressing at youth level with ED Val Miñor Nigrán.
He made his first-team debut for Barcelona in 2025, featuring in both LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League, but faced stiff competition in his position from players such as Fermín López, Dani Olmo, and even Gavi, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal, who can also operate as attacking midfielders.
