The backing of Luis Enrique has been crucial for the Spanish forward. The PSG manager has praised his current form, movement and ability to constantly find space in attack.

“Ferran Torres is in incredible form. He is particularly strong through the middle, he is constantly making runs, and when you have midfielders like Viti, Beraldo, Fabián, Neves and Warren with that ability to deliver passes... The numbers underline his impact. Ferran Torres has scored seven goals in six matches for PSG: four in Ligue 1 and three in the Champions League. His four league goals account for half of PSG’s eight goals in their first five Ligue 1 matches.

He also recorded a hat-trick against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League, while scoring in Ligue 1 against Brest and Olympique Marseille.

The longest run of consecutive games in which Ferran has scored in his career is three matches, a mark he previously reached with Barcelona in December 2024 and matched again with PSG in September 2026.

However, he had never produced a scoring run like the one he is enjoying now.

Ferran arrived in Paris after helping Spain win the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring the decisive goal in extra time against Argentina in a controversial final. His move from Barcelona to PSG also marked a new challenge in a squad packed with star players.

He added: “We are improving with every game. We have to keep training, there is a lot to do. We haven’t had much preparation, but that is not an excuse. We have to improve.”
