Will Nicki Nicole Accompany Lamine Yamal to the Ballon D’or Ceremony? The Unexpected Decision by the Barcelona Soccer Player
The anticipation for the 2025 Ballon d’Or is at its peak, and Lamine Yamal’s inner circle has already made preparations to celebrate a potential win. According to Mundo Deportivo, the young Barcelona forward’s team has reserved an exclusive venue in Paris for a private party, reflecting confidence in his chances of taking home the prestigious football award.
The Ballon d’Or 2025 ceremony will be held on Monday, September 22, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. The main contenders include Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha from PSG, key figures in their Champions League triumph and Club World Cup runner-up finish, and Raphinha and Lamine Yamal from Barcelona, leaders in a squad that won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup in the 2024/2025 season.
While Dembélé is a strong favorite after an outstanding season under Luis Enrique, Raphinha and Yamal have also impressed. The young Barcelona star currently holds a slight edge, making him the focal point of attention at the gala.

Ronaldinho will present the trophy to the winner, and Yamal will travel with a 20-person delegation, highlighting the significance of the event. There is also speculation about the attendance of Argentine singer Nicki Nicole, Yamal’s partner, after she shared a bouquet of yellow and white flowers gifted by him for Spring Day, sparking rumors about her presence at the ceremony.

If Lamine Yamal wins, Barcelona would secure their 13th Ballon d’Or, surpassing Real Madrid, who currently have 12. Barcelona’s record includes six awards won by Lionel Messi (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019), two by Johan Cruyff (1973, 1974), and awards for Luis Suárez (1960), Hristo Stoichkov (1994), Rivaldo (1999), and Ronaldinho (2005).
In the historical ranking of clubs with the most Ballon d’Or awards, Barcelona and Real Madrid lead, followed by Juventus and AC Milan with eight trophies each, Bayern Munich with five, and Manchester United with four.
