Mbappé’s unexpected injury setback
According to Marca, there had been optimism inside Real Madrid regarding Mbappé’s availability for the match at Camp Nou.
However, everything changed during the final minutes of training at Valdebebas.
“With just five minutes remaining in training, Mbappé suddenly stopped”.
The report states the forward felt discomfort in his hamstring and left the session.
“The striker felt discomfort in his hamstring, said he could not continue and left training”.
The controversy surrounding Mbappé’s trip to Italy
Mbappé has also been under scrutiny after traveling to Italy with actress Ester Expósito while recovering from injury.
He was also criticized for smiling after the training session where Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni were involved in an altercation.

Real Madrid manager Álvaro Arbeloa publicly defended Mbappé.
“Taking a player smiling after training out of context is simply trying to twist the situation”.
Arbeloa also highlighted the sacrifices Mbappé made to join Madrid.
