Real Madrid Set a Price for Vinícius Jr: €250 Million or Nothing!
The future of Vinícius Jr. at Real Madrid could take an unexpected turn. According to reports from Europe, Los Blancos would be willing to listen to offers for their Brazilian star next summer — but under one strict condition: he will only leave the Santiago Bernabéu if an offer of €250 million arrives.
That astronomical figure would shatter all transfer records and, for now, only Saudi Pro League clubs seem capable of meeting it.
The end of an “untouchable” at Real Madrid?
Until recently, Vinícius was considered an essential piece of the Real Madrid project. However, things have changed since the arrival of Kylian Mbappé, who has become the focal point of Xabi Alonso’s attack.
Despite recording five goals and four assists in ten matches this season, the Brazilian’s influence has slightly diminished. According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid “no longer consider Vinícius untouchable” and would be open to negotiating with Saudi clubs — but only if the fee reaches the €250 million mark.
A sale of that magnitude would allow the Madrid board to reinvest in key positions and continue the club’s long-standing “Galáctico” transfer policy.
Saudi Arabia enters the race
The Middle East’s interest is nothing new. Al-Ahli are reportedly in direct contact with Vinícius’ entourage and are preparing an offer that could surpass the €222 million transfer fee PSG paid for Neymar in 2017 — still the most expensive in football history.
The Saudi Pro League’s mission is clear: attract world-class talent in their prime, just as they did with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
“We don’t dream — it’s just a matter of time and negotiation,” said Omar Mugharbel, CEO of the league, in an interview with Marca. “Our goal has always been to bring top-level players and make the league more competitive.”
Meanwhile, Ramon Planes, current sporting director of Al-Ittihad and former Barcelona executive, didn’t rule out a possible move for Vinícius:
“I wouldn’t dismiss it at all. He fits the profile we’re looking for: young, world-class, and with massive international appeal.”
Decision time at the Bernabéu
Vinícius is under contract with Real Madrid until 2027, but if he chooses not to renew, the club could be forced to consider selling him before his market value drops.
For now, Madrid’s stance is firm: only a world-record bid could break the bond between Vinícius and Real Madrid. And while Saudi giants prepare their checkbooks, the Brazilian remains focused on rediscovering his best form — determined to prove he can still be the rightful heir to the legacy once carried by Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema.
