Mbappé Has a Message for Lamine Yamal and Barcelona About Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappé Sends Message of Encouragement to Real Madrid After Missing Supercopa de España Due to Injury
French forward Kylian Mbappé, sidelined for the 2026 Supercopa de España with Real Madrid due to a knee sprain, sent a message of motivation to his teammates after staying in the Spanish capital and not traveling to Jeddah. The star confirmed that he trusts the team “1,000%” to win the title.

“Good luck team! I trust 1,000%, we’re going to succeed. Hala Madrid! Let’s go for the Supercopa!” wrote Mbappé on his official Instagram account, accompanied by a photo of the squad posing with the plane headed to Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid will face Atlético de Madrid this Thursday in the second semifinal of the Supercopa de España, a tournament that Barcelona and Athletic Club will kick off a day earlier. Mbappé’s absence marks his second consecutive match out due to the knee sprain, a blow for the team as they aim for their first trophy of the year.
