Lamine Yamal Received a Bugatti as a Gift… But Not Just Any Bugatti
It wasn’t a car, but it was an object so exclusive that very few people in the world can own one. Lamine Yamal once again turned heads off the pitch.
A Prize No One Saw Coming
At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal continues to break boundaries both on and off the field. At the latest edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, the FC Barcelona star was honored with several accolades, including the Maradona Award for the most skillful player of the season.
What no one expected was that this recognition would come with a “Bugatti.” Not a car, but something just as — if not more — exclusive.
A Bugatti… On His Wrist
The prize included a Bugatti Tourbillon, but in its most refined form: a high-end luxury watch created by Jacob & Co, with an estimated value of $400,000.
This model is far from a simple luxury accessory. It is a true piece of engineering, directly inspired by the Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar, transferring the French brand’s DNA into the world of extreme watchmaking.

Gold, Diamonds… And a Miniature Engine
The watch stands out for its extraordinary design. Crafted from 18-karat white gold, it features 328 diamonds and 18 rubies, the latter strategically placed to replicate the rear lights of the hypercar.
The most striking detail lies on the lower section: a miniature replica of the 8.0-liter V16 engine, mechanically functional, with visible moving parts that turn the watch into a constant spectacle.
An Edition Reserved for the Few
Only 150 units of the Bugatti Tourbillon will be produced. Of those, just 18 belong to the ultra-exclusive “Baguette Edition,” the most expensive and limited version of all — the very one received by Yamal.
As his talent continues to shine on the pitch, Lamine Yamal is also beginning to collect status symbols reserved for true global sports superstars. A Bugatti on the wrist that confirms his impact already extends far beyond football.
