Lamine Yamal Celebrates 18 With a Secret Party and a Contract That Locks Him in as Barcelona Star Player
FC Barcelona young winger, Lamine Yamal, will turn 18 this Saturday, July 13, and is set to celebrate in grand style surrounded by friends, music, celebrities, and inside an exclusive mansion rented for around $46,000 per week
A Celebration Fit for His Meteoric Rise
The Spanish international's coming of age marks a new chapter in his already stellar career. After two seasons shining at the top of world soccer, Yamal will wrap up his vacation with a private party in a luxury villa, completely off-limits to cameras by the player’s own request.
Following visits to destinations such as Pantelleria (Italy), Brazil with Neymar, Marbella, Ibiza, and Shanghai, the Barça academy product will end his summer break with an intimate yet extravagant celebration.

Olivella: The Heart of the Celebration
According to journalist Iván García on the program Tardear, the party will be held in a mansion located in Olivella, a municipality in the Garraf region of the province of Barcelona. Originally planned for Ibiza, the event was moved for privacy reasons. Guests received the final location details earlier today and will arrive in private cars from downtown Barcelona a journey of approximately 45 minutes.

Star-Studded Guest List
Yamal will be surrounded by close friends, family members including his cousin and top-tier celebrities. Confirmed attendees include Emilia, Bad Gyal, Ibai, TheGrefg, Speed, Duki, Ozuna, Bizarrap, and Morad, with potential appearances from Lola Índigo, Rauw Alejandro, and even Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton.
A Milestone July 13 for Yamal
The celebration also coincides with a key milestone in his professional career: the activation of a new contract with FC Barcelona, effective on his 18th birthday. The deal extends Yamal commitment to the club until June 30, 2031, and grants him the iconic No. 10 jersey, once worn by legends such as Messi, Maradona, and Ronaldinho.
A Historic Contract with a Massive Release Clause
Barça has secured the future of one of world soccer brightest stars. After a stunning season with 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches, Yamal became a top priority for the club. His previous deal, set to expire in 2026, has been extended through 2031 with a release clause reportedly set at $1.17 billion, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Spanish outlet Sport reported that the winger will earn an estimated $9 million net per season, with performance bonuses tied to goals, appearances, titles, and individual awards such as the Ballon d'Or potentially pushing his annual earnings to $20–23 million, with yearly increases. However, Barça has not officially confirmed these financial details.
The Centerpiece of Barça Project
“Lamine Yamal’s renewal is a clear sign of the strength of Barça sporting project. His rise has been one of the most remarkable in modern football, starting with his debut on April 29, 2023, at just 15 years old,” stated the club in an official press release, attended by Joan Laporta, vice president Rafa Yuste, and sporting director Deco.
Yamal joined Barça academy at the age of seven and already boasts four senior titles: La Liga 2022/23, plus the domestic treble this past season La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España. He was also a key figure in Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph, all before turning 18.
Awards and Global Recognition
His performances have earned him widespread acclaim: Yamal was named Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year, as well as the winner of the Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy for the best U21 player in the world.
A Birthday Bash for a Rising Star
With a brilliant future ahead and the full backing of FC Barcelona, Lamine Yamal is set to throw an unforgettable party private, but grand. One of soccer brightest talents, and now the official wearer of the No. 10 shirt, is celebrating like a true star.
Happy Birthday, Lamine!
