Fayza Lamari, mother of Kylian Mbappé, made headlines again after her revealing comments at the Demain le Sport event held in Paris. In an honest and unfiltered conversation, the mother of the Real Madrid forward spoke about the loneliness, fame, and controversies that have surrounded her son in recent years.

“I had a discussion with him last year when things weren’t going very well. I asked if he didn’t want to have a girlfriend. He replied, ‘Do you see a woman in this mess?’” Fayza told the audience. “Sometimes he’d drive around the ring road in a 206 just to see what it was like. He can’t even walk down the street anymore. It makes me sad.”

When I saw him walking down the Champs-Élysées, I knew he was slipping away,” she said wistfully. “I called him Justin Bieber, because we went straight from Bondy to the Royal Monceau. I felt like I was in a movie.”
