Joan García Talked About the Result of the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano Match
The Barcelona goalkeeper who was instrumental in the Catalan team's victory spoke about the team's performance against the Madrid team
Match against Rayo Vallecano
This Sunday, after a narrow 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona goalkeeper Joan García acknowledged that they did not play their “best game,” but he emphasized that the most important thing is the three points, which extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points, ahead of the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid.
Joan Garcia’s statement
“Rayo is a great team with a great coach. We weren’t at the level we’ve been showing with the ball; it wasn’t our best game, but the important thing is that we won,” the Spanish goalkeeper told DAZN.
The goalkeeper from Sallent stated that “the most important thing” was to head into the international break “with three points,” regardless of how the Blancos fare in tonight’s derby, and downplayed the discomfort he experienced in the 20th minute.

Optimism in Victory
"I was a bit overworked, but nothing serious,” concluded García, who was in turn “very happy” about his first call-up to the senior national team.
