Market value does not decide who starts, who matters more to a team or how much a club would actually demand for a player. Still, the latest Transfermarkt estimates provide an interesting snapshot of how perceptions around several of Real Madrid's biggest assets are changing.
From €200M to €130M: Vinicius’ Stunning Market Value Slide
The latest Transfermarkt update has produced significant movement inside the Real Madrid squad: Vinicius Jr. has dropped to €130 million, while Yan Diomande has climbed to €120 million and Arda Güler has reached the €100 million mark.
This week's update valued Vinicius Jr. at €130 million, €10 million below his previous figure and far from the €200 million peak he reached in October 2024. At the same time, Yan Diomande jumped from €90 million to €120 million, while Arda Güler moved from €90 million to €100 million.
Vinicius Drops but Remains a Central Figure

Vinicius' market-value curve has been trending downward for some time. From €200 million in 2024, he fell to €170 million in 2025, then €150 million, €140 million and now €130 million. His start to the current season has also been relatively quiet by his standards. According to Real Madrid's official statistics, the Brazilian has one goal and three assists in eight appearances and 652 minutes.
His drop in valuation also comes after a period in which he has been far less dominant than at his peak. Although Vinicius finished the 2026 World Cup with four goals and one assist, Brazil were eliminated in the Round of 16, well short of their ambitions of challenging for the title. At club level, Real Madrid entered this season after two trophyless campaigns, while the Brazilian also experienced moments of internal tension: under Xabi Alonso, he publicly showed his frustration at being substituted on several occasions, including a heated reaction during a Clásico against Barcelona.
His individual level has not yet returned to the heights of 2024 either, with José Mourinho acknowledging in September that there is another version of Vinicius capable of deciding the biggest matches and that he had yet to reach that level this season. That broader context helps explain why his market valuation has continued to move away from the €200 million peak he reached two years ago.
But interpreting the valuation drop as a loss of status would go too far. Real Madrid officially extended Vinicius' contract until 2032 only two months ago and described him as one of the most important players of one of the club's most successful recent eras.
His lower valuation therefore reflects a combination of form, age and changing market perception rather than a definitive verdict on his future.
Diomande Records LaLiga's Biggest Rise

The 19-year-old winger recorded the biggest increase of any player in LaLiga in this update, rising €30 million from €90 million to €120 million.
What makes that rise particularly striking is that he has not yet produced huge numbers at Real Madrid. Diomande has played eight matches and 291 minutes, registering one assist and no goals.
His valuation is heavily influenced by his age, potential, previous performances and the investment made to sign him. José Mourinho has publicly urged patience, saying that Diomande would probably play 90 minutes every week at a club with fewer elite options.
In other words, his financial rise does not yet mean he has overtaken Vinicius in Real Madrid's sporting hierarchy.
Güler Breaks the €100 Million Barrier
The other major mover is Arda Güler, who has reached €100 million for the first time.
The Turkish midfielder has one goal and two assists in seven LaLiga appearances this season and is coming off a 2025/26 campaign in which UEFA's technical observers named him the Champions League Breakthrough Player of the Season after 14 appearances, two goals and three assists.
His valuation is increasingly being supported by consistent first-team involvement rather than potential alone.
Five Real Madrid Players in LaLiga's Top 10
The updated ranking now includes five Real Madrid players among LaLiga's ten most valuable: Kylian Mbappé (€200m), Jude Bellingham (€160m), Vinicius (€130m), Diomande (€120m) and Güler (€100m). Lamine Yamal remains the league's most valuable player at €220 million.
The numbers point to a gradual shift in the value of Madrid's squad, but not necessarily an immediate change in its sporting hierarchy.
Transfermarkt itself stresses that its valuations should not be treated as actual transfer fees. They are estimates influenced by factors such as age, potential, performances, contractual situation and market demand.
That makes the most interesting takeaway something other than Diomande being “almost as valuable as Vinicius”: Real Madrid now have several young players whose market valuations are already approaching those of the club's established superstars.
