Franco Mastantuono Impressed by His Real Madrid Teammates
Franco Mastantuono surprised with his praise for Real Madrid stars: he highlighted Carvajal’s humility and Bellingham’s leadership.
A Month of Adaptation at Real Madrid
Franco Mastantuono has only been at Real Madrid for a few weeks, but he is already making his mark. The 18-year-old Argentine scored his first goal against Levante in LaLiga and admitted that adapting from River Plate has been much easier thanks to the support of his new teammates. “It’s not easy to join a new club and leave your family behind, but I feel at home, very comfortable,” he said.
The young playmaker especially appreciated the help of the team’s stars, who have supported him throughout his first month in Europe. “I feel more comfortable and confident every day. I have a lot to give, and so does the team. I think this year will be incredible,” Mastantuono added.
Carvajal, a Model Captain
One name stood out for the Argentine: Dani Carvajal. “He has won six Champions Leagues and is an incredible person, very humble, a leader,” he noted. For Mastantuono, the way established stars like Carvajal, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Junior show humility and closeness is key for helping younger players feel integrated in the squad.
Bellingham’s Leadership
Beyond the captains, Mastantuono also expressed his admiration for Jude Bellingham, even though the English midfielder has barely played this season after undergoing shoulder surgery. “Bellingham is unbelievable. I’ve never seen a player with so much presence and leadership on the pitch. He has that calmness and fighting spirit that make him different. He’s going to help us a lot,” he said.
Although Bellingham’s return might reduce his own minutes, Mastantuono didn’t hesitate to joke: “If we could play with 12, even better.” His words confirm the strong bond within a squad that mixes established stars with young players hungry for success.
