Florentino Pérez officially launched his campaign to remain president of Real Madrid CF with an ambitious message under the slogan “Mucha historia por hacer” (“Much more history to make”).
The longtime Madrid president declared that “the best cycle in football history is not over yet” while defending his legacy as the foundation for the club’s continued dominance.
A powerful message to Madrid fans
The campaign video opened with a bold statement:
“The future needs the person who already made it reality.”
Florentino emphasized that leading Real Madrid requires long-term vision, experience, and stability.
He also highlighted how the club became one of the most valuable and globally recognized sports brands during his presidency.
Promise of more superstar signings
One of the strongest points of his speech involved future transfers. Florentino referenced iconic signings such as Luís Figo and Kylian Mbappé while promising that Real Madrid will continue attracting the world’s biggest football stars.
“The arrival of the best players in the world will continue to be a reality,” he stated.
Bernabéu transformation and future expansion
Florentino also praised the renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, calling it “the most advanced stadium on the planet.”
He further revealed plans to continue expanding Valdebebas and strengthening Real Madrid’s leadership in sports, technology, and entertainment.
For the first time since 2006, Florentino will face an opponent in club elections, as businessman Enrique Riquelme Vives prepares an alternative project for the club’s future.
