Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has praised the "attitude and mentality" of his protégé Lamine Yamal, of whom he has said that "he will be the best player in the world, if he isn't already."
The German coach expects the Catalan player to start this Saturday against Getafe, despite the minutes he has racked up in the last four Nations League matches he has played with the Spanish national team.
"His level is fantastic, also with Spain. I saw him in London. I was there. We have to think about the players from a different perspective. Cubarsí and Lamine are young and recover faster. If he plays 60 or 70 minutes, that's good, even though he wants to play the whole game," Flick said at the press conference before the LaLiga match against the Madrid side.
The Barça coach believes that Lamine Yamal "enjoys playing soccer," and it is precisely that "desire to improve" in the forward from Rocafonda that is the key to his strong performance at the start of the season
