Fermín’s Cryptic Instagram Message Shakes Barcelona: “Bad People Never Win”
He deleted it, but it was already too late... Fermín exploded on social media with a message full of rage and betrayal. He didn’t name names, but in Barcelona, everyone is asking the same question: who was the message really for?
Fermín sets social media on fire with a message about betrayal… then deletes it
Fermín López shocked everyone on Wednesday with a post that lasted just a few minutes on his Instagram story. The FC Barcelona midfielder shared a photo of himself celebrating on his knees in the blaugrana jersey, along with an explosive message that quickly went viral on social media.
“Bad people never win, nor those who look the other way, nor those who make betrayal their way of life and cowardice their flag. It’s only a matter of time. They lose every day because the makeup they wear each morning eventually fades, and they end up revealing who they really are to the world.”
There was no clear recipient, but the tone was so sharp and full of frustration that users immediately took screenshots, shared the message, and began speculating. Just minutes later, Fermín deleted the post, but it was too late—Barça's locker room was already buzzing with theories.

Was it aimed at Ter Stegen?
While Fermín didn’t mention anyone directly, many fans on social media believe the target could be Marc-André ter Stegen, who recently sparked tension within the club. The German goalkeeper refused to sign the consent form allowing LaLiga access to his medical report, preventing Barcelona from registering his salary and complicating the club’s financial fair play compliance. The move, widely seen as an act of individual defiance, hasn’t gone down well with some teammates and parts of the club’s leadership.
As a La Masia graduate, Fermín is known for his deep connection to Barça’s identity, and he doesn’t seem willing to stay silent when he believes the badge is at stake—even if it means throwing shade at one of his own teammates.
