Endrick Talks About a Possible Return to Madrid
The young soccer player is now at Olympique de Lyon on loan from Real Madrid.
Could Endrick return to Real Madrid?
The promising young Real Madrid and Brazil player spoke about his situation and that of Real Madrid after the dismissal of Xabi Alonso. Endrick, a 19-year-old striker, is on loan playing for Olympique de Lyon, where he recently made his debut and scored a goal. Endrick helped the French team in their first game to advance in the French Cup against Lille OSC.
In the midst of Real Madrid's post-Alonso crisis, there was much rumor of a possible clause in the Brazilian's contract that would allow him to return from Lyon to be part of Madrid's squad. However, the young striker said that his goals are in Ligue 1 and that he seeks to revive his career, adding minutes and appearances.
The reason behind his transfer to Lyon
The Brazilian Real Madrid player was loaned to Lyon to recover from an injury that took him months and the call to attend the Club World Cup in the United States
In an interview with AS, the young striker stressed the need to take advantage of his time at Lyon to grow and develop. "I came to France to do what I love, train and play," Endrick said. "Pursuing our dreams is always a good thing."
Is he going back to Real Madrid?
The truth is that the Brazilian player seems very happy and comfortable at Lyon. Although he has a good relationship with Florentino Pérez and the Merengues, it is unlikely that Endrick will miss this opportunity to play consistently and develop in the French league and other European competitions with Lyon.
