Endrick Prepares to Leave Real Madrid: Olympique de Marseille and Juventus, on the Lookout
Endrick’s future at Real Madrid is in doubt. With no minutes under Xabi Alonso and the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the young Brazilian is seriously considering a change of scenery. Marseille, Juventus, and several Premier League clubs already have him on their radar for January.
Endrick, the Brazilian gem fading in Madrid
Endrick’s story at Real Madrid seemed destined for success. Signed from Palmeiras with the label of a “new Brazilian phenomenon”, his arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu sparked huge expectations. However, reality has been quite different. The 19-year-old forward has yet to play a single minute in the 2025–26 season ,neither in LaLiga nor in the Champions League.
First, it was Carlo Ancelotti who kept him on the bench, and now Xabi Alonso appears to be following the same path. Endrick watches from the sidelines as Gonzalo García and Kylian Mbappé monopolize attacking minutes, while his name slowly fades from both the media spotlight and the Brazilian national team.
The lack of playing time is particularly worrying for the young striker, who dreams of representing Brazil at the 2026 World Cup. With new stars like Estevao Willian shining in Europe, Endrick fears missing out on the next Seleção call-up.
Marseille, the most appealing escape route for January
According to reports from L’Équipe, Olympique de Marseille is ready to offer Endrick a fresh start. Roberto De Zerbi is looking to reinforce his attack following the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Amine Gouiri, who will both take part in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The French club had already tried to sign him in the summer and is preparing a new approach for January, likely a loan deal. For his part, Endrick would welcome the opportunity to join Ligue 1, where he could regain competitive rhythm and showcase his talent away from the intense pressure of the Bernabéu.
However, Real Madrid has no plans to make his exit easy. Xabi Alonso was clear: “I’m not thinking about that; it’s not on my mind.” The coach insists that both Endrick and Gonzalo García “are ready to play” and that “competition is fierce,” even if the reality suggests otherwise.
Juventus, PSG, and English clubs also tracking him
Marseille isn’t alone in the race. In Italy, Juventus has shown interest in a potential loan move, while West Ham United and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the situation.
The Hammers need attacking reinforcements amid goal droughts from Callum Wilson and Nicklas Füllkrug, while the Red Devils are seeking an alternative to challenge Benjamin Šeško. In both cases, Endrick would be a long-term investment who could also solve immediate problems.
The interest comes as no surprise: despite his lack of minutes, Endrick’s talent remains undeniable. His physical strength, dribbling ability, and vision make him a highly sought-after profile among top European managers.
The urgency for minutes and the World Cup clock
Brazil has already secured its spot for the 2026 World Cup, but Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure with the Canarinha has been inconsistent. With fierce competition up front between Richarlison, Matheus Cunha, Igor Jesus. Endrick knows he needs regular minutes to reclaim his place.
So far, his stint at Real Madrid raises more doubts than certainties: just two official goals and many absences. The talent is there, but patience is running thin. If January doesn’t bring change, history could repeat itself —another South American promise fading before shining in Europe.
The winter transfer window will be decisive. Endrick must choose between waiting for his chance in Madrid or moving to a club that makes him feel important. One thing is certain: his future and possibly his World Cup dream, hangs by a thread.
