Endrick happy at Olympique Lyon, Florentino Pérez comprehensive

The brand-new Olympique Lyon player, on loan from Real Madrid, made his debut for the French team by scoring a goal against LOSC Lille, securing a place in the round of 16 of the French Cup.

In an interview with Spanish media outlet MARCA, the Brazilian striker said he was happy and comfortable at his new club after his debut. In recent days, following the dismissal of Xabi Alonso, there have been rumors of a possible clause that would allow Real Madrid and Endrick to cancel the contract with Lyon and return to the Bernabéu.

When asked about the possibility of returning to Real Madrid, Endrick replied that all his energy was focused entirely on his current club, with whom he hoped to win a trophy this season. He also referred to the possibility of Merengues fans cheering on Lyon, given that they compete in different European leagues. “The fans will be cheering on Real Madrid in the Champions League, but they can also cheer on Lyon in the Europa League, right?” said the Brazilian striker.

The reason Endrick is now in Ligue 1, more specifically at Olympique Lyonnais, is that he needed more time on the pitch, more minutes, which he can add to his resume.
