Cristiano Ronaldo has taken a major step in his business career by acquiring 25% of UD Almería. The deal was completed through CR7 Sports Investments, a new subsidiary of CR7 S.A., the company through which the Portuguese superstar manages his global business ventures.
The news was first confirmed by Cristiano himself in an official statement. Shortly afterward, UD Almería released its own announcement, highlighting the significance of the agreement for the club’s continued growth and international projection.

In its official communication, the Andalusian club confirmed Ronaldo’s entry into its ownership structure:
“Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired 25% of UD Almería’s shares through CR7 Sports Investments, a subsidiary of CR7 S.A., marking an important step in the continued expansion of both the club and the Portuguese entrepreneur’s investment portfolio.”
The statement also emphasized that the move aligns with the international expansion strategy led by club president Mohamed Al Khereiji through his business conglomerate SMC Group.

Mohamed Al Khereiji welcomed Cristiano’s involvement, stressing that the partnership goes beyond financial backing. According to his remarks, Ronaldo brings invaluable experience, global visibility, and a deep understanding of Spanish football.
