Barcelona Target Clarifies His Future
The potential departure of Robert Lewandowski has pushed Barcelona into the market in search of a striker who can fit into Hansi Flick’s system and remain at the club for the long term.
A Signing That Becomes Complicated
The main target was Julián Álvarez, but it appears that Atlético de Madrid has shut the door. This opens the possibility for Barcelona to pursue Fisnik Asllani from Hoffenheim, who has been shining with his team.
The striker has already recorded 10 goals and 7 assists in 29 matches, but what attracts Barcelona the most is his tactical versatility. He can play as a center forward, drop deeper into midfield, or, if needed, attack down the right wing thanks to his pace and dribbling ability.
An Affordable Fee, but With Obstacles
His price would not be an issue for Barcelona, which currently cannot afford major spending. Hoffenheim is asking for around €30 million for their rising star, who is under contract until 2029. Additionally, the German side is pushing for Champions League spots, partly thanks to the performance of the Kosovo-born forward. This could complicate the deal, as the club would be reluctant to let him go with European competition within reach.
The player is aware of Barcelona’s interest but is currently ignoring the noise. When asked about his future, Fisnik Asllani responded firmly: “Let me play football first; then we can talk when the season ends.”
The forward remains focused and does not want distractions in this crucial final stretch of the season for Hoffenheim.
