Arda Güler thanks Xabi Alonso for his trust and sets his sights on winning every title with Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s Turkish midfielder, Arda Güler, expressed his satisfaction with the continuity he’s enjoyed as a starter since Xabi Alonso’s arrival on the bench. The young talent highlighted that the coach’s trust is “very important” for his growth within the team.

“I’m confident. We had a great start to the season with all my teammates. It’s very important for me that the coach trusts me,” Güler said after receiving the ‘Mahou Five Star Player’ award for the month of October.

During October, Güler played in all four of Real Madrid’s matches and was key in the victories over Villarreal, Getafe, and Barcelona in LaLiga EA Sports, as well as in the Champions League win against Juventus. “I hope we can win every trophy by the end of the season,” he said with ambition.

Looking ahead to the upcoming league match against Rayo Vallecano, following the loss to Liverpool in the Champions League, the Turkish star stressed that the team is focused on returning to winning ways:
“We have a tough game ahead, but we have to be ready for any situation. We want to win and go into the international break with three more points.”
