Real Madrid’s new coach, Arbeloa, appeared before the press and spoke about the current state of the team and the opponent they will face in their league match.

Arbeloa spoke about the match against Monaco, calling it a turning point—a before and after—in his career and in his time on the Real Madrid bench since taking over as interim coach following Xabi Alonso’s departure. A victory that was vital, especially after the elimination from the Copa de España against Albacete, a mid-table second-division team.
The Real Madrid coach has only been in the job for eleven days, although the sheer number of events and their magnitude make it seem like much longer. He clarified that he doesn’t pay much attention to rumors or criticism, that he’s always focused on getting the three points, and that’s what he’s going to try to do tomorrow.
"Rodrygo will be in the squad. Winning is the most important thing here, beyond any systems. I want to see the character and mentality from the other day. It really represents what Madrid is all about, that sense of everyone pulling together. Those values are ours; we must never abandon them."
