Barça with 30 players called up and awaiting Rashford’s debut
FC Barcelona kicked off its highly anticipated 2025 preseason Asian tour on Friday after resolving setbacks that delayed their departure on Thursday. Coach Hansi Flick has called up 30 footballers to face friendly matches in Japan and South Korea, including major additions like Marcus Rashford, Roony Bardghji, and the debut of Lamine Yamal with the number 10 jersey.

Problems overcome before heading to Japan
The trip was originally scheduled for Thursday but was canceled due to a “serious contractual breach” by the promoter of the friendly against Vissel Kobe, as stated by the club. The situation was resolved thanks to the intervention of Rakuten, the Japanese company that owns the rival club. However, due to logistical issues, the flight was rescheduled for Friday morning.
