🔥 Explosive start for Barcelona: goals from Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal
The Culés, fielding a near-full-strength lineup, got off to a quick start. In the 8th minute, a counterattack initiated by Dani Olmo led to a shot off the post by Lamine Yamal, with Robert Lewandowski tapping in the rebound for the 0-1. Just six minutes later, Lamine Yamal, wearing the number 10 jersey, scored a brilliant goal after a diagonal run from the right flank, slotting a low shot for the 0-2. However, a mistake in playing out from the back allowed Youngwook Cho to pull one back for 1-2 in the 26th minute.
Before halftime, another defensive error let Yazan equalize (2-2), but Yamal shone again with an electrifying dribble and a top-corner strike to restore the lead at 2-3 going into the break.
🧠 Flick tests variations and Barça extends their lead
In the second half, Flick completely changed the lineup and tested Gerard Martín as a center-back. The intensity increased, and Barcelona’s dominance was total. A stunning long-range goal from Christensen made it 2-4. Clinical finishes from Ferran Torres and Gavi followed, pushing the score to 2-6. Youngsters Toni Fernández and Guille Fernández made their first-team debuts, with Toni nearly scoring, only to be denied by goalkeeper Cheolwon Choi.
⚠️ Defensive lapse and Ferran’s final flourish
The South Korean side pulled one back through Hanmin Jung after another defensive lapse by the Blaugrana (3-6), but Ferran Torres sealed the 3-7 final scoreline with a goal assisted by Rashford.
