FC Barcelona delivered a commanding 0-5 victory against Daegu FC during their Asian tour, highlighted by a stellar performance from Lamine Yamal and the debut goal of Marcus Rashford. The team, led by Hansi Flick, continues to impress with a squad brimming with young talent.

From the outset, Lamine Yamal was a nightmare for the South Korean defense. In a brilliant first half, the winger relentlessly outpaced opponents and created multiple scoring opportunities, shining alongside Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and debutant Pedro Fernández ‘Dro’, who started in the attacking midfield.

Flick also surprised with an untested center-back pairing of Ronald Araújo and Gerard Martín, while Gavi partnered with Frenkie de Jong in the midfield.

Despite an aggressive start from Daegu, the game quickly tilted in Barcelona’s favor. Gavi opened the scoring with a left-footed strike from outside the box (21st minute), and Lewandowski extended the lead to 0-2 with an assist from Gerard Martín. In stoppage time, Gavi scored again, finishing a brilliant team move with a pass from Koundé (0-3).

In the second half, Hansi Flick completely changed the lineup, but the dominance persisted. Youngster Toni Fernández (17 years old) capitalized on an assist from Dani Olmo to score the 0-4 (54th minute). Finally, Marcus Rashford sealed the 0-5 rout (65th minute) with an excellent pass from Eric Garcia.

Barça maintained pressure until the end, with attempts from Roony Bardghji, Dani Olmo, Rashford, and Toni Fernández. The only downside was the injury to Pau Cubarsí, who had to leave the field in the 87th minute.

With this latest Barcelona thrashing, the Blaugrana conclude their stint in South Korea and will return to Spain to continue preparations for the new season.
