Will Jude Bellingham Play Against Celta de Vigo? Here's What We Know
Jude Bellingham is on track to be included in Real Madrid’s squad for their upcoming LaLiga EA Sports clash against Celta de Vigo, scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 14:00 CEST at the Santiago Bernabéu. Despite not training with the group on Friday, sources from the club confirmed to EFE that there is no concern over his availability.
Controlled Recovery Plan
The English midfielder followed an individual training program at Valdebebas, working away from the pitch under a load management plan. He is expected to rejoin the full squad in Saturday’s training, the final session before matchday.
In contrast, Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Eduardo Camavinga, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Antonio Rüdiger all remain unavailable. Carvajal, Militão, and Camavinga were present at Valdebebas for recovery work but are definitively ruled out for Sunday.
Academy Players Stepping Up
Given the long injury list — especially in defense — Carlo Ancelotti has called up youth players Jacobo Ramón (center-back) and Youssef "Yusi" (left-back). Both trained with the first team on Friday and are expected to be part of the squad against Celta.
The session, held under heavy rain in Madrid, included strength work in the gym, followed by rondos, crossing drills, finishing routines, and tactical work on the pitch.

Ancelotti to Address the Media
Real Madrid will return to training on Saturday at 11:00 CEST, after which Carlo Ancelotti will hold his pre-match press conference. It will be his first public appearance amid recent speculation regarding his future, with rumors linking him to Brazil’s national team and a potential move to Saudi Arabia after the Club World Cup later this year.
