Tom Brady VIP at Real Madrid's Celebration of El Clásico
Former American football player Tom Brady, Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic, and American actor Andy García attended the Santiago Bernabéu's VIP box this Sunday to witness the classic match between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The three were welcomed by Florentino Pérez, president of the White Team, who gave them a shirt with the patch of the 14 Champions Leagues, along with each one's name and chosen number.
Djokovic, the tennis player with the most Grand Slam titles in history (24), and Andy García, host of the Laureus Awards in Madrid, chose the '1' for their backs.
Meanwhile, Tom Brady, the American football player with the most NFL titles (7), chose his legendary '12,' which accompanied him throughout his successful career with the New England Patriots - with whom he won six of his seven rings - and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A Brady whom Vinícius wanted to pay tribute to after his goal, making the gesture of throwing an American football.
Brady himself joined the celebration with the players of the White Team after their victory against their long-awaited rival, FC Barcelona. The former quarterback spoke about the experience, making it clear: "They are a tremendous team, I loved how they celebrated the victory and the atmosphere in the locker room."
He also described the experience of a classic at the Bernabeu as "very beautiful and surprising. In an incredible stadium, where the crowd is very noisy and has fantastic technology," Brady affirmed.
