FC Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal, who turns 18 on July 13, is already considered the most valuable footballer on the planet, according to the latest report from the CIES Football Observatory. The independent group has valued the Spanish international at $438.5 million, comfortably ahead of big names like Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior.
Rounding out the top three are Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, estimated at $261.2 million, and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, valued at $254.8 million. With his recent contract renewal through June 2031, Lamine is clearly the most valuable prospect in world football.
LaLiga and Premier League stars dominate the top 10
According to CIES data, next on the list is Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé ($209.8 million), the oldest player in the top 10 at 26 years old; Bayern Munich playmaker Jamal Musiala ($168.7 million); and Barça midfielder Pedri González, valued at $156.6 million.
In seventh place is Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior ($142.2 million), followed by Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer ($137.9 million), Atlético de Madrid forward Julián Álvarez ($137.3 million), and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz ($133.3 million), who rounds out the top 10.
Barça center-back Pau Cubarsí, also 18, shows up at number 12 as the most valuable defender on the list, with an estimated price tag of $128.6 million, ahead of Manchester City’s Joško Gvardiol ($109.8 million). And in the goalkeeper category, Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen leads the way with a value of $70.1 million, showing that young talents are dominating across every position on the pitch.
