Barcelona Reaches Agreement with Hansi Flick
According to "AS," the contract for the German coach would be for two years with an option for renewal.
The newspaper "AS" reports that both sporting director Deco and sports committee member Bojan Krkic attended a meeting in London with Hansi Flick to establish the terms and everything necessary to reach an agreement with the German coach to become the new manager of the Blaugrana for the next two seasons.
On the other hand, Barcelona still needs to resolve Xavi's contractual situation. Xavi is still with the team and hasn't been officially informed about anything, although he might have heard rumors about his possible departure in the coming days. It is also known that Xavi might not receive all the money he is owed by Barça for his exit, as he announced earlier this year that he was willing to forgo the entire year’s salary.
Meanwhile, Flick has always shown interest in coming to Barcelona. According to "AS," he started studying Spanish a while ago and has been learning all the sporting concepts of Barcelona. Another clear sign of his desire to join the Barça family was his decision to turn down the chance to manage Chelsea after Mauricio Pochettino's departure.
