Ancelotti Full of Praise for Arda Güler: "He Will Be Even more Important..."
Ahead of the match against Celta Vigo, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti once again highlighted the growth of young Turkish talent Arda Güler, who is gradually earning a more prominent role in the team. In a press conference, the Italian manager didn’t hold back in praising the 19-year-old midfielder, making it clear that he sees him as a key figure in the club’s future.
"Arda Güler has made tremendous progress. He’s showing his quality and gaining consistency. I believe he can become an exceptional midfielder, because there are very few at his level. He will be very important for the future of Real Madrid," said Ancelotti, who also emphasized that the young player is adapting better and better to the demanding environment of the club.
Since joining Real Madrid, Güler has undergone an adaptation process marked by patience and the coaching staff’s trust. Although his playing time has been limited due to strong internal competition, the Turkish midfielder has made a good impression whenever he’s been given minutes on the pitch.
Carlo Ancelotti and His Enigmatic "May 25"
During the same press conference, Ancelotti was asked about his future as Real Madrid manager but avoided going into detail. With a smile, the Italian coach said that his future will be decided after the final league match, scheduled for May 25 against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabéu.

“It’s not the time to talk about that,” he stated. “I have an excellent relationship with the club, the players, and the fans. Whatever I have to say, I’ll say it after the game against Real Sociedad. Today is not the day. I’m calm and focused on the upcoming matches.”
Despite rumors linking him with the Brazil national team or even projects in Saudi Arabia, Ancelotti neither confirmed nor denied any of the speculation. The only certainty, according to his words, is that any farewell from the club would be “very special and full of mutual affection.”
In the meantime, the coach is focused on finishing the season in the best possible way and continuing to nurture talents like Arda Güler, who is already emerging as one of the club’s biggest long-term bets in midfield.
