First-half dominance from Madrid

Celta fights back after Madrid’s third

The second half started with another blow from Real Madrid. In the 48th minute, Mbappé scored again, this time assisted by Güler, making it 3-0 and seemingly sealing the game.

But Celta de Vigo responded with resilience. In the 69th minute, Javi Rodríguez pounced on a rebound inside the box to pull one back. Then, in the 76th, Williot Swedberg made it 3-2 after a smart through ball from Iago Aspas, raising the tension inside the stadium.

Despite late pressure, Real Madrid held on to secure a crucial win in their push for the LaLiga title — showing attacking sharpness but also some defensive concerns to address.
