Estevao, Rodrygo, and Vinícius Júnior Star in Brazil’s Crushing Victory Over South Korea
Brasil recupera la moral y muestra su poderío ofensivo con un contundente 0-5 ante Corea del Sur en partido amistoso rumbo al Mundial 2026.
Brazil’s joy returns
The Verdeamarela smiled again this Friday with an offensive masterclass that left no doubts about their World Cup 2026 potential. In the first preparatory friendly, Brazil defeated South Korea 5-0 at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul, with braces from Estevao and Rodrygo, plus a goal from Vinícius Júnior. Despite the rain, Carlo Ancelotti’s team bounced back from the previous loss against Bolivia and delivered a spectacular performance.
Rodrygo and Estevao lead the rout
From the start, Brazil’s forwards showed perfect coordination and precision. Estevao opened the scoring with a magical assist from Bruno Guimarães in the 13th minute, while Rodrygo extended the lead before halftime with a clinical finish following a pass from Casemiro. The attacking duo constantly troubled the South Korean defense, leaving little room for counteraction against the young Real Madrid and Chelsea stars.
Vinícius seals the five-goal spree
In the second half, Brazil quickly sealed the match. Estevao stole the ball from the defense and finished neatly in the 47th minute, followed two minutes later by Rodrygo’s second goal assisted by Vinícius. The Madrid winger capped the 5-0 win in the 77th minute on a lethal counterattack. With a clean sheet and fluid interplay, Brazil demonstrates its readiness just eight months ahead of the World Cup.
