National Team Meets Ahead of FIFA Window
The Argentina national team has kicked off its training camp ahead of two upcoming international friendlies during the FIFA window. Among the first to arrive were Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul, two of the most prominent figures in Lionel Scaloni’s squad. Their presence reinforces both leadership and continuity within the group as preparations intensify.
These matches are part of Argentina’s build-up for next year’s World Cup, where the reigning champions will look to defend their title. The coaching staff will use this opportunity to evaluate individual performances, fine-tune tactical aspects, and continue shaping the team ahead of the tournament.

THE NEW VENEZUELA FACES MESSI’S ARGENTINA – LIVE THIS FRIDAY ON BEIN SPORTS AND BEIN SPORTS EN ESPAÑOL
This Friday at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT, beIN Sports and beIN Sports en Español present a new chapter between the Argentine National Team and La Vinotinto. A clash filled with history, revenge, and plenty at stake—even if it’s just a friendly.
The last time they met was on September 4 at the Monumental in Buenos Aires, during the second-to-last matchday of the qualifiers. Argentina were already qualified; Venezuela were fighting to stay alive with 18 points, just one ahead of Bolivia. But that night had only one star: Lionel Messi. It was his last official match on Argentine soil wearing the Albiceleste shirt, and he bid farewell in his own way—with pure magic.
A pass from Julián Álvarez and Messi chipped the ball over the Venezuelan defenders for the opener; Lautaro Martínez doubled the lead with a diving header; and Thiago Almada assisted the “Pulga” for the third. 3–0, a standing ovation at the Monumental.
