Switzerland Predicted Lineup vs Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 2026 FIFA World Cup
The Nati will look to bounce back from their draw against Qatar, while the Bosnians also aim for their first win after sharing the points with Canada.
Switzerland endured a frustrating start to the 2026 FIFA World Cup after Qatar secured their first-ever World Cup point, snatching a last-minute equalizer in Santa Clara.
The Nati now turn their attention to Thursday, June 18, when they face Bosnia and Herzegovina—another European side that also let victory slip against co-host Canada in Group B. With that in mind, here is the projected starting XI Murat Yakin is expected to field at Los Angeles Stadium.
LIKELY STARTING XI
Set up in a traditional 4-3-3, Gregor Kobel is expected to start in goal, protected by a back four of Denis Zakaria, Nico Elvedi, Manuel Akanji and veteran Ricardo Rodríguez.
In midfield, Remo Freuler, Granit Xhaka and Michel Aebischer are set to anchor the side.
The attacking trio would feature Dan Ndoye, Ruben Vargas and Breel Embolo.
It would be largely the same lineup that faced Qatar in San Francisco, with Switzerland now hoping to bounce back in Inglewood against the team that previously eliminated Italy.
