Ronaldo Nazario blasts Ancelotti's decisions after Brazil's elimination from the 2026 World Cup

Ronaldo Nazario blasts Ancelotti after Brazil's disappointing exit
Brazil's elimination in the Round of 16 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Norway continues to spark strong reactions. One of the first to speak out was Ronaldo Nazario, who surprised many by placing much of the blame for the Seleção's failure directly on Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Brazilian striker, who had previously publicly supported the Italian manager's appointment, admitted that this time he disagreed with several of the decisions made throughout the tournament, especially in the match that ended Brazil's World Cup campaign.
Ancelotti under enormous pressure
The defeat to Norway marked Brazil's worst World Cup performance since Italy 1990 and has significantly increased the pressure on Carlo Ancelotti, whose project now faces serious doubts despite being under contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation through 2030.
While the coach insisted his team created enough chances to win and spoke about the beginning of a new cycle, criticism continues to grow from both the Brazilian media and some of the country's greatest football legends.
