The Barcelona winger praised his national teammate during Brazil's training camp in New Jersey and said Vinicius has the quality and experience to make the difference on the biggest stage.
Raphinha highlighted Vinicius' growth as a player and his ability to decide important matches despite his age.
"Vini is young, but because of his experience and achievements he can decide a World Cup match and help bring us a sixth title. I include myself in that group as well," Raphinha said.
The comments reflect the confidence within Brazil's squad as they prepare for another World Cup campaign.
Veteran players embracing leadership roles
Raphinha also discussed the responsibility carried by the more experienced players in the dressing room.
He pointed to young talents such as Endrick and Rayan, both just 19 years old, and stressed the importance of helping them adapt to the pressures of a World Cup.
At the same time, he emphasized that every player must understand what it means to wear the Brazil shirt and accept their role within the squad.

Despite questions surrounding the team's consistency, Raphinha insisted Brazil arrives at the tournament in good shape.
"We are very well prepared," he said.
The winger believes defensive organization will be crucial because Brazil already possesses enough attacking talent to compete with anyone.
"We need to work hard on the defensive side. If we defend well, our chances of winning become very high," he explained.
