After making his mark at Liverpool and now becoming a key figure for Bayern Munich, the Colombian winger carries the responsibility of leading Colombia back onto football’s biggest stage.
James Rodríguez will once again lead Colombia
Another major name in the squad is James Rodríguez, who will play in another World Cup while still remaining one of the emotional and footballing leaders of the national team.
The legendary Colombian midfielder hopes to shine once again in the tournament where he reached the peak of his career back in Brazil 2014, a World Cup where he finished as top scorer and one of the biggest stars of the competition.
Colombia keeps the core of Lorenzo’s project intact
Néstor Lorenzo decided to maintain most of the group that secured qualification, prioritizing continuity and stability inside the locker room.
