Morocco looks to make another World Cup statement

Ouahbi faces one forced change

It is not all good news for head coach Mohamed Ouahbi, who will be without one of his key attacking pieces.

Ismael Saibari suffered a hamstring injury against Canada and is not expected to be available for the quarterfinal clash.

His absence should force at least one adjustment in a team that has relied on defensive discipline, quick transitions and attacking speed throughout the tournament.

Soufiane Rahimi appears to be the main candidate to step into the starting lineup.

The forward scored against Canada and enters the France match with confidence, making him the natural option to lead Morocco's attack.

Morocco will also continue to rely on Achraf Hakimi's leadership from right back and Yassine Bounou's presence in goal, two pillars of a team that has become increasingly difficult to break down.
