France prove once again why they remain among the world's elite

The goal immediately changed the rhythm of the match. Morocco were forced to push forward, leaving more room for France to exploit. Although the Moroccan players protested the goal and appealed for a review, the referee allowed it to stand.

France did suffer one worrying moment shortly afterward when Mbappé was caught by a strong challenge from Issa Diop. The forward initially tried to continue but was eventually substituted after appearing to suffer an ankle injury, creating uncertainty ahead of the semifinals.

Dembélé finished the job as France's firepower took over

In the 65th minute, the French forward capitalized on a well-worked attacking move before calmly finishing inside the six-yard box to beat Bounou once again and make it 2-0.

It was another reminder that France possess far more than just Mbappé's brilliance. Their attack features multiple players capable of deciding matches within seconds, making Les Bleus arguably the most dangerous offensive team remaining in the tournament.

Morocco attempted to respond through substitutions, introducing Sofyan Amrabat, Soufiane Rahimi, and additional attacking options, but they were unable to generate enough clear-cut opportunities to truly trouble Mike Maignan.

Les Bleus now await the winner of Spain vs. Belgium, knowing another World Cup final is within reach. If Mbappé is able to recover from his ankle problem, France will head into the semifinals with one of the strongest squads left in the competition.
