According to the federation, the decision reflects confidence in the Italian coach’s work since taking charge in May 2025, along with support from players and fans.
“We want more”
In a video released by the CBF, Ancelotti said he was happy to continue leading Brazil for four more years.
He emphasized his ambition to return Brazil to the top of world football.
“The CBF and I want more,” said the former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich manager.
Ancelotti’s first year with Brazil
In his first year with the national team, Ancelotti coached ten matches, recording:
- five wins,
- two draws,
- three defeats.
Brazil scored 18 goals and conceded eight during that stretch.
The extension comes just days before Brazil announce their World Cup squad.
