The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature many of the best players on the planet, most of whom ply their trade for the world’s top clubs. But which teams will have the strongest representation at football’s biggest event? Here’s a closer look.
THE TOP 10
England’s Premier League dominates the elite ranking, with five clubs among the top 10. Manchester City leads the way with 19 players set to appear at the World Cup, followed by Arsenal in third place with 16. Crystal Palace ranks sixth with 12 representatives, while Manchester United and Liverpool each contribute 11 players.
Among clubs from other leagues, Bayern Munich sits second with 18 players, while Paris Saint-Germain shares third place with Arsenal on 16. Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Atlético de Madrid are tied for sixth with 12 representatives apiece.
The biggest surprises on the list are Al Hilal and Crystal Palace, fresh off their UEFA Conference League triumph. Meanwhile, European powerhouse Real Madrid is expected to have just 10 players participating in the summer tournament.

PSG'S STAR-STUDDED CONTRIBUTION
As reigning UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain is tied for third place alongside Arsenal.
France will have the largest PSG contingent, with five players representing Les Bleus: forward Ousmane Dembélé, winger Désiré Doué, attacker Bradley Barcola, midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery, and defender Lucas Hernández.
Portugal follows with four PSG players in its squad: midfielders Vitinha, Bernardo Silva, and João Neves, along with defender Nuno Mendes.
The club’s international representation also includes Achraf Hakimi for Morocco, winger Khalil Ayari for Tunisia, striker Ibrahim Mbaye for Senegal, Marquinhos for Brazil, William Pacho for Ecuador, Lee Kang-in for South Korea, and Fabián Ruiz for Spain.
