Tension at Real Madrid: Trouble Between Bellingham and Arda Güler?
In the middle of the celebration after Real Madrid advanced to the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup, an unexpected clash between two key players caught the attention of fans and media: Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler had a tense exchange that didn’t go unnoticed.
A moment that raised eyebrows
During the 1–0 win over Juventus, young Turkish midfielder Arda Güler seemed visibly frustrated by Bellingham’s lack of defensive support. According to reports from outlets close to the club, such as Defensa Central, Güler told the Englishman, “You need to track back more.” To which Bellingham replied, “That area is your responsibility, brother.”
Though brief, the incident sparked debate, especially since it came at a time when the team is performing well.
Fortunately, sources inside the dressing room say the matter was quickly resolved after the match. Güler and Bellingham talked it through and cleared the air, acknowledging it was simply a heat-of-the-moment misunderstanding. Rather than showing conflict, the situation actually highlighted Arda’s growing confidence, as the 19-year-old is already stepping up and taking responsibility on the pitch.
Madrid moves on and prepares for Dortmund
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso’s side remains focused on the mission: winning the title. The coach praised the overall team performance and singled out Fede Valverde, calling him “a top player who makes everything easier and leads the team with and without the ball.”

Gonzalo García scored the decisive goal and continues to shine in the starting lineup. Kylian Mbappé made his debut in the tournament during the second half and is expected to be fully fit for the upcoming clash against Borussia Dortmund.
The squad remains in Palm Beach, where they continue training under the rain as they fine-tune their strategy. Eduardo Camavinga also took part in the session and is nearing full recovery, adding another option for the midfield.
While the tension between Bellingham and Güler was real, it seems the matter is behind them. The group remains united and fully focused on the next challenge: beating Dortmund and moving one step closer to the Club World Cup trophy.
