Real Madrid heads to the U.S. with one goal: winning the FIFA Club World Cup 2025
Real Madrid is on its way to the United States with one clear goal—bringing home the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The squad left from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport on Saturday afternoon, heading to Miami, where their campaign kicks off this Wednesday.
Full squad and fresh faces
After wrapping up their final training session at Valdebebas and having lunch at the training complex, all 31 players called up—along with the coaching staff led by Xabi Alonso—boarded the flight to Miami, with an expected arrival at 6:00 PM local time (almost nine hours of travel). The traveling party includes nine academy players and two new signings: Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The team was decked out in their official travel outfit designed by luxury brand Louis Vuitton: dark suit, white shirt, and blue tie, giving off a sharp, unified image for the international tournament.
No Vini, Lunin or Güler… for now
Not everyone flew out from Madrid. Vinícius Junior, Andriy Lunin, and Arda Güler were already in Miami, having wrapped up their international duties.

Once in Florida, the team will settle in at the Four Seasons Palm Beach Hotel, where they’ll stay focused ahead of their tournament debut. Their first game is set for Wednesday, June 18, against Al Hilal, at the Hard Rock Stadium, kicking off at 3:00 PM local time (9:00 PM in Spain).
