(VIDEO) Real Madrid and the wedding that welcomed them at their hotel upon arrival for the Club World Cup
Real Madrid is officially in Miami for the new 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and their arrival was anything but ordinary. After a transatlantic flight of over nine hours, the squad landed at Palm Beach International Airport and headed to the luxurious Four Seasons in Palm Beach, their base for the tournament. But once they got to their rooms, the players were met with a surprise: a wedding was happening right below their balconies, poolside at the hotel.
Rodrygo and a viral moment
Brazilian forward Rodrygo Goes was the first to share the unexpected scene. In an Instagram story, he posted a video from his room with the caption: “Box seats for a wedding.” What was supposed to be a chill afternoon with an ocean view turned into a full-blown party—with music, flowers, and dancing just steps away.
Beyond the fun moment, Xabi Alonso’s team is now fully focused on their opening match against Al-Hilal, set for Wednesday at the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins. They’ll train at Gardens North County District Park, a state-of-the-art facility with ten FIFA-approved pitches built to meet the demands of a world-class tournament.
Luxury stay for a long tournament
The choice of the Four Seasons wasn’t random. It’s a five-star resort endorsed by the Forbes Travel Guide 2025, with suites that can cost up to $8,000 per night. If the team makes it to the final rounds, they could spend nearly three weeks there—so privacy and comfort were key to their decision.
While some guests are celebrating poolside weddings, Real Madrid is fully locked in for another shot at international glory. Between viral moments and intense training sessions, the world’s most decorated club is ready to leave its mark on American soil.
