Madrid Shines Not Only on the Pitch: Also Dominates the Stands at the Club World Cup
Real Madrid has not only showcased its footballing dominance during the group stage of the Club World Cup, but it has also made a strong impression off the field. According to official data released by FIFA, the Spanish giants led stadium attendance, with three of their matches ranking among the top five most attended games in the tournament’s first phase.
Their fixtures against Al Hilal, Pachuca, and Red Bull Salzburg, all from Group H, drew massive crowds, turning each venue into a celebration of Madridismo and reaffirming the global appeal of the club, especially in the United States.

While the most attended match of the group stage was the exciting Paris Saint-Germain vs Atlético de Madrid clash at the legendary Rose Bowl in Pasadena (California) with 80,619 spectators, Real Madrid claimed three of the next four spots in the attendance rankings.
The match against Pachuca in Charlotte (North Carolina) brought in 70,248 fans; the game versus Salzburg in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) drew 64,811 spectators; and the fixture with Al Hilal in Miami saw 62,415 fans in the stands—making it the fifth most attended game of the tournament so far.

In fourth place was the high-profile clash between Bayern Munich and Boca Juniors, also held in Miami, with 63,587 people in attendance. These numbers highlight not only Real Madrid's massive fanbase but also the global appeal of historic football rivalries.
FIFA reported that the total attendance during the group stage reached 1,667,819 spectators, with an average of 34,746 per match. However, not every game drew big crowds; some were played in front of nearly empty stands, such as Ulsan vs Mamelodi Sundowns at Exploria Stadium in Orlando (Florida), which saw only 3,142 fans in attendance.
With the knockout stages about to begin, attendance is expected to rise even further—especially with Real Madrid still in the competition. Their upcoming Round of 16 match against Juventus, set to be played in Miami, could once again break attendance records and confirm that Los Blancos dominate not only on the pitch but also in the stands.
