FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Dates, Stadiums, Teams and Everything You Need to Know About the New Tournament
The countdown has officially begun. On June 14, 2025, the most ambitious edition in the history of the FIFA Club World Cup will kick off in the United States. For the first time ever, 32 teams will battle for global supremacy in a tournament modeled after the FIFA World Cup. This new era of club football is set to raise the bar like never before.
Tournament Dates and Format
The competition will run from June 14 to July 13, 2025, spanning one full month and featuring a total of 63 matches. The group stage will consist of 8 groups with 4 teams each, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Round of 16. From there, it’s straight knockout rounds all the way to the final.

Matches will be held across 12 stadiums in 11 different cities throughout the United States. These are the confirmed venues:

A Global Tournament with Star Power
Fans can expect to see some of the world’s biggest football icons, including Lionel Messi with Inter Miami, Kylian Mbappé with Real Madrid, Erling Haaland with Manchester City, and European champions: PSG. However, major absences include Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr did not qualify), Liverpool, and Barcelona, all of whom missed out due to FIFA’s ranking-based selection system.
A Final With Halftime Show
The grand final will take place on Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and will feature a halftime performance by J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems, produced by Chris Martin of Coldplay. A high-profile fusion of sport and entertainment, designed to make history.
