Manchester City defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley to lift the FA Cup, thanks to a moment of brilliance from Antoine Semenyo.
The final was slow, tense and lacked attacking ambition from both teams for most of the ninety minutes.
City quality decided a poor final
Manchester City threatened earlier with a disallowed Haaland goal after an offside from Matheus Nunes, while Robert Sánchez also denied the Norwegian striker with a strong save.
Chelsea offered very little going forward and relied on isolated runs from João Pedro and moments from Cole Palmer.
The breakthrough finally came from the only real flowing move of the match.
Haaland creates, Semenyo finishes brilliantly
Bernardo Silva slipped the ball through to Erling Haaland, who turned provider with a precise pass into the area.
With his back to goal and under pressure from Levi Colwill, Semenyo produced an incredible backheel finish into the far corner.
The goal secured the trophy for Pep Guardiola and gave Manchester City revenge after losing the previous two FA Cup finals.
